Monitoring

Do you sometimes worry about your mum and dad living unassisted at home? We can help provide you with peace of mind by being your eyes and ears in the home when you cannot be there to assist them to live independently.

Our workers who visit your parents’ home are required to perform authorized tasks, but also, to observe your mum and dad and recognise any changes that may be the tell-tale signs that something is not quite right. Perhaps dad is less talkative than usual, mum’s speech is a little slurred? They may have lost their appetite or be struggling a bit more than usual to keep up with their daily routine?

Sequel will report any concerns to you immediately so the appropriate steps can be taken to address the situation as soon as possible. In most circumstances, the quicker the response, the better the outcome.

We often find that the task of monitoring is made easier once our Support Workers get to know your parents well. Subtle changes in moods, temperament and well-being are more readily obvious to workers because of the continuity of care we provide.

If you have any questions about getting started with Sequel, please call us on 9499 1200 and we will help you through the process.
